Music video for “Someone Like You” by Adele, made by Casey Ford Alexander at Princeton University. I think this video is even better than Adele’s original music video for this song (which can be seen here), and it almost made me cry! I find Adele’s music so amazing, passionate and real—she truly knows how to reach out to her audiences because her music is so relatable.
Hey guys! My name is Monica, I'm 20 years old, and I'm currently a Psychology and Sociology double major in college. Some of my interests include horseback riding, tennis, beating other people in Scrabble, talking to Siri on my iPhone 4S, wondering when the next iPhone (5?) is going to come out, being a very liberal Democrat, and traveling to and exploring new places, among many other things. Ten things you didn't know about me: 1. I was born and raised in California, but I'm also Canadian, so I have dual citizenship both in the U.S. and in Canada because I have a ton of family throughout the Vancouver area and British Columbia, Alberta and Ontario 2. I've recently gotten to love hockey, especially since it's huge in Canada, and I am a HUGE fan of the Vancouver Canucks. Go Canucks, GO! 3. I'm half-Hungarian and at the moment, I'm trying to learn the language but I'm not being too successful at it (it's a hard language!) 4. I'm really allergic to peanut butter (especially Skippy's) as well as pineapple (but I love it so much that I eat it anyways, especially in my friend’s bomb homemade pineapple upside-down cake) 5. However, I'm not allergic to hazelnuts and am OBSESSED with Nutella and often eat it by the spoonfuls when I'm down in the dumps 6. I recently became a vegetarian in early 2011 and I am loving it! 7. Sometimes when something is really funny, I just can't stop laughing, I just can't. So for the rest of the day, I'll have the giggles and laugh at random things for no particular reason, it's so embarrassing 8. I am also OBSESSED with J.Crew. If you don't know what I'm talking about, go to this Web site, you'll be amazed, I promise: www.jcrew.com. Even my cousins in Canada are obsessed with this American brand 9. One of my biggest pet peeves is people who don't use their turn signals when switching lanes and/or turning when driving, especially on the freeway—it 'drives' me 'nuts' 10. I have a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever dog named Ringo Starr after the Beatles' drummer. (It's a really rare breed!) Oh, and my dog also happens to be from Canada too.
